Podcasts…great tip!!!

tks to my student Diego 🙂

The best place for you to get podcasts is iTunes, but you need an Apple device for that.  Apple has even created a Podcast app that you can download here https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/podcasts/id525463029?mt=8

If you don’t have an apple device, BBC has some really interesting podcasts as well that you can find at http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/ . The great thing about BBC’s podcasts is that (unsurprisingly) people have British accents, which will undoubtedly help if you struggle with it.

On the other hand, if you prefer to listen to American accents, check out the Podcast Awards webpage (http://www.podcastawards.com/). They have a lot of award-winning podcasts divided into categories.

Other interesting podcasts that might seem challenging at first are the ones from CNN, but if you are really interested in politics or world news you should give it a shot http://www.cnn.com/services/podcasting/ . You will also find a variety of good podcasts at the New York Times website:http://www.nytimes.com/ref/multimedia/podcasts.html

I personally listen to podcasts from http://www.espnradio.espn.go.com/espnradio/podcast/index but these only conver American sports.

I hope these links are useful for you.
